MacGyver is the coolest show ever! I grew up on it and can watch like ten seconds of an episode and tell you which one it is. I'm glad I'm not the only one obsessed with the show.

Hey
I agree. MacGyver is the best shower ever by far. I'm 17 and I only started watching it the beginning of the summer and I'm already obsessed with it. I've onlt watched up to season 5 but my goal is to have every episode watched before I go to school in September.
Anyways, it's great meeting you.

This is probably the best darn news we could have heard. It isn't official yet, but from a couple of sources that I've come across it seems that the rumour mill is buzzing that MacGyver is coming to DVD at long last. This is still very early on, but at least it is something to look forward to and anticipate. It is looking likely that mid-late 2005 would be the release time frame, but with studio work and such, who news. I will see what I can find and anything new will be posted. I'm just curious about what could be used for special features? Commentaries and such, behind the scenes and even tv features would be ideal. What do the rest of you think?

Just received word. Word we've been waiting a little while for. The street-date for Season 1 is going to be January 25, 2005. Only a couple of months away before one of the most-anticipated DVD-season releases. Special features aren't known yet, but the set will be in the traditional full-screen (1.33:1) format, Dolby Digital English Mono sound, and Closed Captioned. It's thought that the set will retail for around $30 US/$40 CAN. Once again, as I get more, I will post it.

I absolutley adore Richard Dean Anderson. He is such a great actor both in MacGyver and Stargate.
I am so happy to hear that MacGyver is finally coming out on DVD however the unfortunate is that it's in region 1 coding and where I'm from it needs to be region 2.
Does anyone know if pc´s read all regions ???

I didn't know there were other people out there who still love MacGyver. I am too young to even actually remember when the show was new but I have watched it over the years on various networks (USA, WGN, TVLand, Spike TV). The season one DVD is fantastic although there are no special features.......It is hard enough to find Mac on tv anyway, its good to have a whole season in my possession for viewing at any time

Yeah, I love the idea that they, whoever they are, decided to put MacGyver on DVD. I've loved that show ever since I was a kid. It's just unfortunate that it is only available as region 1, which means that if I'd buy it I couldn't watch it.
